Harmonix' Rock Band series has received a new set of songs every week since it was first released, eventually stacking up over 4,000 songs from various artists. However, the brains behind the addictive music game have stated that April 2nd, 2013 will be the last day that the game will get DLC packs. No new songs will be added after this date. At least it's not as extreme as the cancellation of the entire music store in the iOS version of Rock Band; you will still be able to purchase the songs that have already been added to the library.
